Munshi10 alternatives: 6 hotel systems to compare in 2027

Munshi10 is one of the longest‑running hotel systems in Pakistan. If you’re choosing your first system or reviewing the one you have, these six alternatives are worth a look, depending on your rooms, your restaurant and whether you need FBR invoicing today.

Key points

  • Munshi10’s paid plans start at PKR 45,000 a month plus GST; per‑room pricing such as BedKeys’ usually costs less for hotels under about 45 rooms.
  • If FBR digital invoicing is a must today, EloPMS and SyberEdge also say they do it.
  • For hotels that sell mostly through booking sites, eZee Absolute and Cloudbeds include a channel manager.
  • We make BedKeys, the first alternative listed. Every other fact is from the provider’s own website.

What Munshi10 offers

Munshi10, from Maverick Solutions in Lahore, lists a PMS, a restaurant POS with kitchen tickets, back‑office accounting, a booking engine, a channel manager, WhatsApp messages, and FBR digital invoicing with PRA sales tax. It has a free plan, then paid plans at PKR 45,000 and PKR 90,000 a month plus GST, and its multi‑property dashboard is on the Enterprise plan, priced on request (munshi10.com).

Why hotels compare alternatives

  • Price at their size. A fixed monthly plan suits some hotels; a 15‑ or 25‑room hotel may pay less with a per‑room price.
  • Several hotels. Owners with two or three hotels may want them under one sign‑in without an Enterprise plan.
  • Local payments and money checks. Some owners want JazzCash, Easypaisa and Raast on the folio, or daily checks on cash, discounts and voids.
  • A second opinion. Anyone choosing a system for years should see two or three working on their own rooms.

The six alternatives

1. BedKeys

Our own product. BedKeys runs the front desk, housekeeping on staff phones, the restaurant with kitchen tickets, stock and purchasing, cash shifts, the Night audit and full accounting in one system. JazzCash, Easypaisa and Raast go on the folio beside cash and cards, and the Watchdog lists what looked unusual after each Night audit. Check before you buy: FBR posting is planned and the channel manager is coming soon. Price: PKR 1,000 per room a month, or PKR 1,200 with a booking engine; see BedKeys vs Munshi10 for the cost at 20, 40 and 60 rooms.

2. EloPMS

Built by IT Vision in Lahore, EloPMS lists one of the widest module sets in Pakistan: a restaurant POS with kitchen tickets, stock and purchasing, double‑entry accounting, banquets, HR and payroll, a booking engine and a channel manager. It says invoices reach FBR in real time with an FBR number and QR code (tax page). Check before you buy: for provincial authorities the site speaks of tax “configuration”. Price: not public; a 15‑day free trial.

3. SyberEdge

A Karachi company working since 1998, SyberEdge describes a cloud PMS with integrated accounting, food and beverage posting, the night audit, channel management and multi‑property, and names FBR digital invoicing (SyberEdge). Check before you buy: a booking engine isn’t mentioned. Price: not public.

4. eZee Absolute (Yanolja Cloud Solution)

Used by over 33,000 hotels worldwide, by its own count, with resellers in Pakistan. The base plan includes a booking engine and channel manager; the restaurant POS is an add‑on and accounting comes through integrations. Check before you buy: prices are in dollars, and no FBR invoicing or local wallets are mentioned. Price: from $80 a month for 1–5 rooms; POS $60 per outlet (pricing).

5. Cloudbeds

An international system in over 150 countries, with a booking engine, channel manager and automatic night audit; some Pakistani hotels already use its booking engine with prices in rupees. Check before you buy: accounting is through other software and its own restaurant POS is still a pilot. Price: on request (pricing).

6. Hotelogix

A Singapore company used by over 12,000 hotels, by its own count, with a restaurant POS with kitchen tickets, a booking engine, a channel manager and a mobile app that can run the night audit. Check before you buy: accounting and stock come through marketplace apps. Price: on request, with a free trial (Hotelogix).

How to compare them fairly

  • Ask each for the full monthly cost at your number of rooms, with GST, setup and add‑ons, in writing.
  • If you need FBR invoicing, ask to see a test invoice reach FBR in the demo.
  • Watch a restaurant bill charged to a room, a wrong charge corrected and the Night audit.
  • Ask how a JazzCash or Easypaisa payment shows on the bill and in the books.
  • Ask how your data comes with you if you ever leave.
