Cloudbeds alternatives: 6 hotel systems compared (2027)

Cloudbeds is one of the best‑known hotel systems, strong on selling rooms through many channels. If you want a published price, the restaurant on the same bill, or accounting inside the system, these six alternatives are worth comparing.

Key points

  • Cloudbeds’ prices are on request; BedKeys, eZee Absolute, apaleo and WebRezPro publish theirs.
  • Cloudbeds’ own restaurant POS is a pilot and its accounting runs through other software; BedKeys and Clock PMS+ include a restaurant till.
  • For a broad suite with distribution, Mews; for open, app‑based setups, apaleo.
  • We make BedKeys, the first alternative listed. Every other fact is from the provider’s own website.

What Cloudbeds offers

Cloudbeds, founded in 2012, says over 20,000 properties in 150 countries use it, from small hotels to groups. Its One and Experience plans include a booking engine and channel manager with no added commission, the night audit runs automatically, and guest messaging, revenue tools and payments are available. A built‑in restaurant POS was announced in October 2026 as a pilot, and accounting connects to QuickBooks or Xero. All plans are priced on request (pricing).

Why hotels compare alternatives

  • A price they can see. Some owners want to compare published prices before booking a sales call.
  • The restaurant on the same bill. Hotels with a restaurant want the till, kitchen tickets and room charges in one system today.
  • Accounting inside the system, without a second subscription to keep in step.

The six alternatives

1. BedKeys

Our own product. The front desk, housekeeping on staff phones, the restaurant with kitchen tickets, stock and purchasing, cash shifts, the Night audit and full accounting, in one system at one price per room, with the Watchdog checking cash, discounts and voids after each Night audit. Check before you buy: the channel manager is coming soon, so hotels that sell mainly through booking sites should plan for that. Price: PKR 1,000 per room a month, or PKR 1,200 with a commission‑free booking engine; we quote in other currencies on request.

2. Mews

A broad suite from Prague, in 85 countries: booking engine, channel manager, housekeeping app, payments, revenue tools and a POS add‑on, with no night audit step. Check before you buy: several features sit in higher plans or add‑ons. Price: per room, on request (pricing).

3. eZee Absolute (Yanolja Cloud Solution)

Over 33,000 hotels, by its own count, with a booking engine and channel manager in the base plan and a restaurant POS with stock as an add‑on. Check before you buy: only the 1–5 room price is published. Price: from $80 a month; POS $60 per outlet (pricing).

4. Clock PMS+

For independent hotels with a restaurant, events or a spa: one subscription includes the POS with a kitchen screen and a housekeeper app. Check before you buy: the fee rises with revenue, with a 12‑month minimum and an onboarding fee. Price: e.g. €517 a month for a 40‑room hotel with €1.9 million revenue a year (pricing).

5. apaleo

An open system from Munich for groups and serviced apartments: the core handles rooms, rates and accounts, and you add a booking engine, channel manager, housekeeping and POS from its app store. Check before you buy: most day‑to‑day tools are partner apps with their own prices. Price: €8 per room a month, from €400, with no setup fees (pricing).

6. WebRezPro

From Canada, for hotels, motels and inns, with a commission‑free booking engine and integrated accounting. Check before you buy: POS and channel manager are partner products, and contracts are yearly. Price: $10 per room a month, from $100 (pricing).

BedKeys accounts: profit and money on hand, eight checks that the books agree with the hotel, and month close
